A new trad trio is born and it is with great pleasure that La Compagnie du Nord welcomes it to its team! Experienced musicians have joined forces to offer a rejuvenated and modern vision of the traditional Quebec repertoire: fiddler David Boulanger well known on the music scene (La Bottine Souriante, De Temps Antan, SOLO), virtuoso multi-instrumentalist Colin Savoie-Levac (The Duhks, Rosier and La Bottine Souriante) and Quinn Bachand, a native of Canada’s West Coast, who has distinguished himself through collaborations with Ashley MacIsaac, Natalie MacMaster and Chris Thile. An album, to be released next fall, will feature refined performances, elegant arrangements and creative, innovative acoustic recording. New show on tour for the 2021-2022 season.
