Nicolas Boulerice won the Heritage Prize awarded by Culture Montérégie last night at the 19th edition of its arts and culture awards.
The prize was awarded for the project “Maison de pierres-Confiné aux voyages”, the artist’s second solo album. It consists of 13 traditional laments recorded in Saint-Antoine-sur-Richelieu with bassist Frédéric Samson and sound engineer Charles-Émile Beaudin. The jury appreciated the content and research of the project. In addition, they emphasized the importance of citizen involvement and the development of the territory in this project. Congratulations Nicolas!
